How to play

  1. Press a tile and drag. Start on a region to grow it, and drag back along your own trail to take a tile back.
  2. Every region holds exactly one number and exactly that many tiles.
  3. Regions stay connected. A finished region gets a light rim; too many tiles, or two numbers, turns it red.
  4. Fill every tile to win. Voids, marked with a cross, can never be filled.
  5. Score is moves, not seconds. A clean partition can come in under par.

About it

Every region has to hold exactly one number and exactly that many tiles. The twist is that you draw the regions yourself, dragging tile by tile under a finger or the mouse, instead of tapping a clue and watching a rectangle snap into place.

Your score is moves, not seconds. There is no clock, and you cannot fail by default, because exploring is how you solve a logic puzzle. Challenge mode is in the menu for anybody who wants stakes.

The daily board is one puzzle per calendar date, the same for everyone. Endless gives you as many generated boards as you like, at any difficulty.

A finished Grid Fill board.
A finished board. Each region is one smooth shape rather than a stack of squares, so the rim traces the border you drew.
