About

A shelf of small browser games made by Turhan Ergene, mostly on a phone, with Claude doing the typing.

How they are built

Most of the games here are a folder of plain HTML, CSS and JavaScript. No framework, no bundler, no third-party libraries: Skip Stone’s 3D renderer is written by hand rather than pulled from a CDN, and Eraser Border Wars synthesises every sound it makes at runtime instead of shipping audio files. They start the moment the page arrives and keep working on a bad connection.

Eraser Wars is the exception. It is a Next.js app with its own rules engine, because it is meant for playing together. RugPull.trade is a separate live site: it is listed here and opens in its own tab.

The constraint came first. These were made in a text box, on a phone, in the gaps of a day, so anything needing a toolchain was out. It turns out that is not much of a limit: a whole game fits in a single HTML file with room to spare for weather, cards and sound.
